  1. That's no shit. The only tires I have messed with were my own. Even when I was still a mechanic I did everything I could to steer clear of tire work. Of course it helped that I worked at small shop and they didn't have a tire machine for 1/2 the time I worked there. Once they did get one, a couple of the other guys showed they could do tires and I played stupid.
  2. I could see that happening if you're not careful. I've had truck tires that weighed about 150lbs jump 4ft off the ground. I bet that was loud as hell when it turned loose.

    Intake

What kind of intake is it?? If it's a trinity, you can order a new boot from them. I think they're about $35.
  4. That's because they're too stubborn to listen to experience!! I'm sending you a pm by the way.
  5. I think you're going to have to put it in some looooong mathematical equation. He is an engineering student!!
  6. I'm getting the ether out before I mess with a come-along. I've had a few pickup tires that the strap didn't do the trick, but the ole ether never fails. CAUTION: Do not try this at home..
  7. DO NOT BUY FROM 350shee. He has taken at least 2 people's money from here and cannot be contacted anymore.
  8. DO NOT BUY FROM 350shee. He has taken at least 2 people's money from here and cannot be contacted anymore.
  9. We're out the door now, look forward to meeting up with you guys monday.
  10. Still no word from him. No returns to pm's or cell phone messages.
  11. I have a plate, k&n filter and outerwear. Shoot me an offer.
  12. This is my rig (K-State stickers have since been removed), and in the campsite next to me will be a white Duramax crew cab with a white 44' enclosed trailer. We're staying at Desert Oasis Friday 6/1 thru Sunday 6/3. Monday 6/4 we're moving over to Sand Hills. Desert Oasis sites are 13-14, Sandhills sites are 31-32. We leave out in 3 days  And here's the bike, also will be with a 250r and a raptor 700.
  13. 350shee has had my money for parts since 4/3. Still have no parts, asked for my money back 3 weeks ago and he won't return my calls or pm's. Cory Rodvik 115 S Knoxville Way Vancouver, WA 98664
  14. I think he's trying to say if you pay shipping you can have it.
  15. And you'll be going thru these trails at 100mph??
  16. I had a way bigger main then you when I ran my 2-1 also. I had 2-1 with 35pwk, PT Mids, 21cc domes, stock airbox - no lid with a k&n filter and I was running a 175 main. That seems wierd, sorry but no help here. If you went from a 162 to a 148 and no help, I would say that's not the right direction. Your filter wasn't clogged or something silly like that before was it?? Is your airbox letting enough air in??
  17. I think travis brings it with him. It doesn't matter when you set the date, if travis is coming, it will rain!! EDIT: Or snow. Doesn't matter, if there's going to be travis, there's going to be weather! Sorry travis, but I've tried to meet you there twice and both times it's been shitty for ya. I bet the first time you don't even remember talking to me.
  18. Off topic here some, but how can you say "an excursion is pretty short to get crazy on the lift the pinion angle can get bad real quick!" Is that not one of the longest 4WD vehicles out?? I have a shortbed chevy on 40's and have no vibration problems. You have to get the pinion angle right for what you do regardless of wheelbase. If you lift it, and want it right, you have to adjust the pinion angle no matter what vehicle your talking about.
  19. http://www.quicksandmotorsports.com/ These do not require spindle reaming. Nice arms too.
  20. We are still planning on being there 5/31-6/7. Look forward to meeting you guys. I'll get some pics of what we'll be in and post em up so you know what to look for. Jeff knows the bike, but I don't think I've meet any of the rest of you. Anybody sees me, feel free to stop by for a cold beverage.
  21. Didn't realize the other silencers didn't have arrestors. Never needed them so never cared. Stock silencers should mate up if you only need the arrestors on occasion, but if you need them all the time I would find something different.
  22. Just need silencers. You can use the stock springs and clamps unless you want some fancy aftermarket ones. You may need to replace the o-rings for the flanges at the cylinders depending on the condition of your stock ones. The regular fatboy2 silencers do not have spark arrestors. I think if you get the ones with the turn downs on the end, they have a spark arrestor but I'm not 100% on that.
  23. Contact Joe on there about a package deal. It's definately not cheap, but when I was looking I couldn't find anything better. He will save you some money if you buy arms, shocks, brake lines together.
  24. That's kinda messed up. Gotta go to St. Anthony Idaho to meet somebody else from Kansas haahaahaha. I think we'll be leaving there 6/6 or 6/7 so we'll be overlapped for a few days. Look forward to it. Jeff is going with you guys too? Who else is going??
  25. Thanks, it's coming along. I still want to do some pc'ing and different plastic and some polishing though.
