OK i just saw something about a new throttle from Terry Cable (different than the boyesen) that is both a twist and thumb throttle. it is made for race teams that have riders with different throttle prefences. a pin is put in place to lock the twist when the thumb is being used.

are you talking about the new thing boyeesen makes? if so its not a twist and thumb throttle. its just a thumb throttle with a grip that can rotate alittle, it goes with one on the clutch side that does the same. kinda like flexx bars for grips...

US Chrome can nikasil over iron now. Now sure it is worth it since it can flat easier and does have the good heat transfer properties of an aluminum liner. Read about it here US Chrome putting aluminum sleeves in would be very expensive..figure the cost of the sleeves, plating, porting, and install

received payment from him on monday night (10/16) for cases and stator and shipped them wednesday afternoon (10/18) went online to tell him they shipped and notice he has filed a Paypal dispute because I have not notified him I shipped yet. I provided him with a tracking number which took a day to show up on the USPS site. I was accused of lying about shipping and was given threats of taking money back and bad feedback here. Did not belive me that package would show up saturday. Of course the box showed up saturday (within days of sending money), because everything I said was true. Be careful if selling to flea49, not patient enough to wait 1 day for shipping and sends barrage of unfriendly messages including paypal dispute, without listening to what you want to say.

when i first so the ad for the show I was thinking "cool drag racing with sweet cars" So I watch it and its just a bunch of car geeks arguing about making the other car slow enough or have a big enough head start. I went from a banshee with Elkas 2+1 arms +4 axle and a -1.5 swinger to a stock width 250r with PEPs. No comparison and all, that 250r could run circles around the banshee. The ballance is perfect, the suspention is perfect, it feels 100 pounds lighter. Can ride twice as hard for twice as long. Its easier to make a 250r fast than a banshee agile.

Im in...maybe its time to build another Banshee...

it comes down to where you ride and how you ride. If you ride in alot of open terrain and just like to screw around and have fun the Banshee is great. If you do trails and MX and ride super aggressive and like to try to out ride your friends in any terrain the 250r is perfect. 250rs with big bore Pro-X jugs are extremelly fast too and cheap, i just got one for $430..not bad for 50HP. Plus 250rs have at leat 40 less pounds to lug around.
