  1. Pc s are great pipes. They pull on the top as well. But they still will hinder you a bit in the power. I'd recommend cpi s next, excellent pipe. They pull in the top and still have some low end to play around on. Honestly everything on the banshee that is stock parts is junk. So you may end blowing past your $3k budget replacing everything lol.

  2. Here, here on blowing past your budget. But still happy so that's all that matters. I would try to do an inspection of entire motor first before purchasing anything. I wish I had done so. I ended up having to replace clutch which I really didn't think of at the start of the build. But there is tons of info on this forum. This was my first banshee and first rebuild after owning it for a few months. The ppl on here and reading through past post really help along with a Clymers manual. 4. 421 from Driveline or a 421 Serval. Have it ported for midrange/dune type riding. It'll have a bit of down low, and still rev pretty nice up top, and beat your typical bolt on machine in a drag race. Call Joe Molinari for a N down pro mod trans.

  5. I have yet to fire mine up from frame up rebuild. There are no performance shop around me up here so all of my part I bought through site sponsors. I went for reliability over crazy performance as I ride a lone most time out in the sticks. Take a look at my rebuild thread for parts and upgrades. I'm close to 5k with the build buts that's Canadian, so pretty sure you can do a lot with 3k USD Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

  9. Funny that you ask about overheating... the last ride I took it on to try to test the jets I noticed a little bit of coolant on the swingarm coming from the hose on the overflow bottle. I also noticed a faint smell of coolant, I'll go check the coolant in a few minutes. But I ordered a chariot billet impeller today because of what I noticed, I'm 100% positive it's a stock impeller in the water pump but not sure of the condition. Dumb question, but could that cause my issue? I have a stock woodruff key and flywheel, mix 32:1 with yamalube 2R, and full engine is 64.75 bore and pistons, 115psi compression last time I checked, stock stroke aftermarket crank (not sure of brand, bought it with it in it), stock head, Toomey T5, boyseen reeds, pro design intake with boost bottle eliminated, stock carbs, airbox w/o lid and k&n. Thanks for the reply!
