Hey guys,

 

I don't know how many of you out there are based out of K.C.

But I was just basically screwed yesterday by that joke of a dealership RENO'S.

I have 2 Yamaha

What a dick. Is there anyway you can get ahold of the Yamaha Corp to discuss this dealers ethics?? I don't know if there is a way to contact them, but I'd bet they wouldn't like to hear about one of their franchises acting this way towards a customer. :confused:

That whole story seems kinda flakey to me... First off, why would the second dealer you went to call the first dealer for a quad that they already have sold on Thursday? Secondly, do you think a dealer really cares about who buys the quad? They are only concerned about the money...and thirdly, why should we go on their site and write bad stuff about them when YOU are the one having issues? That's pretty childish! :shootself:

First of all i hardly doubt a dealer would give a out the door price over the phone....maybe i'm wrong.

we dont do OTD prices over the phone. about not swapping with another dealer, whats wrong with that? he may have said that, but i doubt your sale is the reason they didnt trade. the real reason is probably because the warrensburg place didnt have anything they wanted. we get dealers calling us all the time wanting to tradesome stupid little scooters or other slow selling items for yfz450's a TON, like daily. but we never do it. it would be bad business on our part to do so. if the warrensburg place wanted a 450 their service mangaer should have ordered more.

thats pretty wack. my yamaha dealer here in town gave me an OTD price of 6900. when i got there he said oh yea, we sell these for 6700. i was like, wow and neato..hows that for cool?

okay, some misunderstandings here. i spoke with 3 dealers -

1st one is 3 hours away - they said 6500 out the door.

2nd dealer 1 1/2 hours away - they said 6400 out the door - will have one in on thursday

3rd reno's 45 min away - has one in stock and i agreed to pay an extra $50 just so i could get it that day "tuesday"

i listed the time it would take me one way here so you would be able to understand why i needed an out the door price. you might enjoy driving up 6 hours in one day just to come home empty handed but i have better things to do than sit in my truck for no reason... you know like play PS2 AND OTHER CHILDISH THINGS LIKE THAT

Fuck that...here's what I'd do....

 

Call & ask to speak to the fuck that told you that. Then ask him "If you were to get fired, today, who would tell you?" Then request to talk with that person and fill them in on the little 'ol salesman's statement. If that person won't work with you and/or fire the prick salesman, then I would definately contact Yamaha & speak with a rep about that stealer being a Yamaha dealer; in vain. Business is business, salesman will be salesman, but a good dealer will be willing to compete for the business. Sounds like they don't care about staying in business. :shrugani:

the dealer who gave me the run around yesterday is the one with one in stock.. and if warrensburg called them today and asked for a white yfz, i know nothing of it cause they are getting a shipment and mine is on that truck. if they really called i don't know. but if they didn't then that makes reno's look even worse, trying to scare me into buying from them for fear they hold all the cards, or bikes in this case

 

and as for an out the door price... over the phone..... i will tell you all about it thursday,,,, well, maybe friday,,, you know how it is when you get a new bike,,,

I have gotten an out the door price on a brand new Ford Ranger, over the internet. They had to trade with a dealer 100 miles away for the truck I wanted. They did it all and the price never changed, I wanted a tonneu cover and they paid some shop to paint it and install it. As for these assholes, go directly to the big boss man, and talk to him. Tell him his is an unethical guy and he is running a worthless company. As for leaving him an email, I simply would do it because he screwed one of my "friends" here on the hq. So for anyone who doesn't care about this situation, I hope you forget about this thread, and shop there so you learn for yourself. This is to let people know to be careful, and I am greatful that I won't make the mistake myself.

I called down to KC to a yamaha dealership and they gave me the out the door price over the phone. I told them what I wanted to pay, and they said ok, and then I told them I was on my way down. It was for a 450 too..

Well i just figured it would be bad business skills like said about...i just asumed that, i went to the dealer and just bought mine i didn't shop around, probabally should have but i didn't.

dude, that is some fucked up twisted ass shit you got going through you head... i love that shit, i think i should have negotiate, cause if that line of shit don't get the deal then the only other option is to crack some heads , which could still be cool
