But why would you want to...then you run into risking the VERY thin sleeves cracking from the More heat that having basiclly no meat on the cylinder walls will create, but it can be done yes!

Most guys will re sleeve when 80 over is done!

why would you want to? for starters its cheaper. 2nd if you have ported cylinders its cheaper. i`m 60 over. if i dont have a bigger motor until the 100 over goes then i`ll have 100 over. its the idea it could be done.

Mitch : if its a good bike i say do it. if you get a title i wouldnt think twice. years dont mean shit and everything could be replaced if need be. i would seriously look into a title so you dont get fucked 2G. if you ever need parts look up NYUK and i`m sure he can help.

How do you guys know they are the jugs that came on the bike? lol

They arent haha. I should have said the're stock specs. For example, stock from another bike.

If that is the case, and you knew that before you came and asked us.... with the jugs not being the ones that came on it...

you can go 90 and 100 over.

and 91 shees are A-arm.

My mistake, thanks for the correction. I shoulda said if it's 80 over it's only got one more bore (ok technically 2 but I've always had to go 20 over at a time due to either damage or ovaling).

There was a blue Banshee for sale here locally (I dunno an '01 or '02) I stopped and talked to the guy, it had a few bolt ons like pipes & filter. I ask him what bore it's on and he says 80 over (and stock porting), I'm like damn did you blow it up or just ride the piss out of it, he says naw I just wanted more power...uhhh okay...

i know a guy that went from stock bore to 60 over in 1 shot. he said he wanted more power. my opinion he fucked up big time. i would never go bigger then i had to.

Mitch- I might have missed it but did you say that this is your first banshee?

Yup. My first banshee. Give me all the tips you can.

Big step up from a 300ex! haha.

This thing flat out rips. Those RZ gears are almost TOO much. 16 tooth front sprocket on top of that. I seriously only need first in trails. Haha.

I'm looking at a mint 2001 right now for 2 G's! YOu should be paying less out there.. But sometimes money doesn't matter if the machine is good and you like the bike! First things first, check compression and bore to see what kind of like that top end has left in it. Definately take it for a spin! Stand it up and inspect the frame around the welds too! I would still offer $1500!
