  1. Welp, just to add more frustration to the situation. I ordered a used a-arm off flea-bay and it came yesterday. I painted it white to match the other a-arm. Went to put it on and what do you know, itf for the left side not the right. The auction said right side. I swear this shee is my Eleanor
  2. Thanks.
  3. Me too, i had to let of in 4th. Good ol shee
  4. Hey just thought id vent a bit. Well a few days ago my clutch cable snapped no big deal. Got a new one and clean and tightened everything up on the bike. It was running so good today. Everything was perfect. What do you know, the balljoint from the lower a-arm came off. I mean the ball literally came out of the arm. I wasnt riding it, my buddy was. Luckily he wasnt wide open. He offered to pay for everything, but im just glad hes ok. Well is this a common problems on shees or is this just a freak accident? By the way, i love this banshee.A couple guys i was riding with today on 09 450 dirtbikes with all the fuel injection and what not watched me ride and were like damn man that looks like a ton of fun and a handful to hold on to, i dont think i could ride it. haha. props to the shee\ pics of said ball joint tomorrow (maybe) Oh, btw can these balljoints be fixed?
  5. CJ7 for the win.
  6. Dude, just dont worry about it. If someone wants to make a site dissing something, just let them. It's not like it really matters. If you just keep egging them on they'll keep giving it right back. Just ride whatever you ride and enjoy it. Dont worry about what other people say.
  7. Im just going to keep it at 32:1. It never fouls and the plugs look good.
  8. Hey everyone. Im new to the Banshee/2-Stroke scene. Right now im running Klotz R50 at 32:1. I have full fmf pipes, port and polish, shaved head, boyessen reeds, RZ bottom end, and Vitos +4 degree key. Would it be better to lean the mix out to 40:1?
  9. I wanted to switch the twist throttle that came on my Banshee back to thumb. What do i need?
  10. Haha don't think so. I like it too much. Im headed to the dealer tomorrow to buy tires, grill, shock covers, skids, K&N, Handle bars, and oil.
  11. Haha guys its already bought. That picture was taken in my yard.
  12. Yup. My first banshee. Give me all the tips you can. Big step up from a 300ex! haha. This thing flat out rips. Those RZ gears are almost TOO much. 16 tooth front sprocket on top of that. I seriously only need first in trails. Haha.
  13. Here shee is guys and gals. I love her.
  14. Im picking it up this weekend.
  15. They arent haha. I should have said the're stock specs. For example, stock from another bike.
  16. I already tried the 1700 cash idea (you pretty much read my mind). He cant though. His house burnt down 2 years ago and his buddy(my dads good friend) lent him 2 grand. He has yet to pay it back because moneys tight so the guy that lent him the money is holding the banshee. So he needs to sell it to pay him back. Sounds fishy I know but we know both of these guys.
  17. I think all of the stock stuff is from a newer bike but im not sure. It fires right up though. Im from Northwest PA by the way. Oh and i'll be sure to post pictures. After I ride it of course haha.
  18. Ok, well I'll start with the engine. Its stock bore, stock crank, and stock cylender. The guy that owns it is a really good engine builder and is real meticulous about his work. His replaced all the bushings, bearings, and seals on the whole bike. The bike has been torn completly down to the frame and rebuilt. Its not some guy thats going to screw us over. We know him and he promised that if anything went wrong we have his number and he'll fix it.
  19. The guy im talking to has an 1987 Banshee with the following mods- -Full FMF SST Pipes -Professional Port an Polish -1996 RZ350 Transmission -Rebuilt top end -Aftermarket J-arms -DG Bumper -DG Nerf Bars -UNI Air Filter -Renthal bars -DMP Gripper seat -Tether kill switch -Twist throttle -Good condition plastic -Wiseco Pro Lite Pistons -Vetos degree key -White Bros boost bottle -DG grab bar -Boyesen reeds -Shaved head -Barnett clutch -Razr fronts on douglas -Kenda Gecko rear sand tires on stock -Year 2000 banshee shocks -Stock crank, bore, and cylender I can vouch that it runs strong He wont go lower than 2000.
