i'm installing a pd cool head and i'm having trouble removing my old studs is there any easy way to remove these?

Spray some WD40 into the threads at the cylinder, let it soak for a little.

Take two head nuts, thread them on the stud and lock them against each other....use the bottom nut and a BIG F'ING Wrench and twist them out.

Stud removal tool is certainly the way to go... I had to heat the area around two studs (that were being little bitches) with a torch. That works really well, but you have to be extremely careful not to heat it to the piont of warping or doing any damage. Oh and by the way, this stuff I use called PB BLASTER in a yellow can works ten times better than any other rust penetrant/ lube I've ever used.. Not sure if its available everywhere or not tho?
