So heres my idea there is a bad ass cnc/machine shop right up the road from me, and i have had them weld my wifes 3000ex's case and make header flanges for the chevy. but the idea is to have them, majke me a swingarm out of 2 inch steel tubing using the stock style bearing carrier, they said it would be about 200 to 250 to make it for me. sinisterboo Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 I wouldn't be worried about a banshee swingarm if i had a 3000ex!! just kiddin, metalurgy is some cool shit, especially when you find out after waking up in the ambulance that maybe that extra hundred or so dollars for a swingarm from a reputable mfg was worth it. just my opinion......
