ported reed cages

i hear of people saying the have ported reed cages. what exactly do they mean? what exactly gets ported or opened up?

the cages themselves. they get cut to within a rch of the edge of the petal.with the right petal, just as good if not better than v force.rch is a technical term for red cunt hair.new stock petals seem to be the best longest lasting.

things are still a little fuzzy.

they get ground out with a handheld grinder. metal taken out of the inside,to make the holes bigger.

Think of it like porting a set of cylinders. You take away some material so that the air-fuel mixture will flow better through the reed pedals.

Here is a set of ported ones with boysen dual stage petals. I charge $50 a set for cages, they're kind of a PITA to do.

not the best picture, shadows make them look crooked. I can assure you these look great and perform great.
