bansheejoel
save your money on that modquad impeller. There junk, buy either a vitos, torch works, or a pro design. I bought the pro design and love it. Honestly bro, swaping out the impeller was prolly the easiet thing ive done to my shee besides changing the spark plugs lol
jbooker82
It isnt hard at all. You just have to take the clutch cover off. I would go with a Prodesign. Modd Quad had some where the shaft was made out of a soft metal. The seal would wear a groove in the shaft and cause a coolant leak. I dont know if they fixed the problem but I would go PD just incase. josh

The stock plastic pump has been known to break after time. The aluminum ones have a better impeller designe that pumps coolant better too. dawarriorman
stock impellers can break/melt since they're plastic. Mine had a ton of fractures in it, after more time it would have fell apart. More of an insurance thing than anything else, if the stock impeller goes, its gonna cost you alot more than the impeller costs in repairs. Does cool better too.
