someone just asked me if runni 50:1 is to lean or to thick help me out so i can tell him i run mine 32:1

50-1 is lean...I run 40-1....I have run 50-1 and 32 -1 also....32-1 on breaking in the new top end,40-1 to be safe and 50-1 when I was running synthetic oil...Hope this helps..

i run mine at 50:1 on ipone, some times even 75:1 once in a while. 32:1 on a good brand oil is to much imo, but perfect for the cheap stuff i was looking at old banshee shout out the other day it was. ducan, trinity, and ct banshee's back in 93 or 95. one of them was runnin 100:1 on 92 octane the other 32:1 or 50:1 lon vp 112 race gas pretty scary at 100:1

I'm probably one of very few on here that runs a 24/1 ratio. I use Yamalube 2R.

stick with 32:1 until u have mastered plug chops!! DO NOT RUN 75:1 in a stock un modified motor thats just asking for a meltdown.. The more oil you can run down the motor and it burn the better, theres a reason yamaha recomends 24:1.. 50:1 is as high as i would go especially running an unleaded fuel.
