Whats the temp there? When starting a cold bike it requires a rich mixture (more fuel) to start. 108 octane for 130 psi compression doesnt sound right.Im pretty sure you should be running pump gas. Are you using the choke? wheres your air screws and needle set at?

Your compression reading seems way low for those size domes and your elevation in cold weather. If you put the head on yourself, I would pop it off and inspect the o-rings to make sure they are in their groves and didn't fall out and get pinched when you assembled it. It also might be time for new pistons and a fresh bore if it's been a long time or if you're still on the stock bore.

yeah i thought the compression seemed way to low myself so rechecked the comp with a new gauge and was the same. all the orings are good. i think its time freshen up the pistons being that the comp is almost exactly the same on both cylinders. thanks for the reply. i really appreciate ur help !
