razorbackbanshee Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 I am trying to adjust my clutch after the rebuild, and I can't line up my clutch lever with my arrow on the engine case because a chain break took off the section with the arrow. Anybody have an idea of where I should line it up. My clutch was slipping real bad and so I took off the clutch cover and tried to adjust the screw but it just made it worse. Now it won't even go when I put it in gear, so I killed it right then. I'm afraid I might have fried my clutch. Anybody have any suggestions? Quote
shee4speed Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 with the side cover on the arrow is pretty much at 2 inches. good luck man! Quote
razorbackbanshee Posted May 20, 2008 Author Report Posted May 20, 2008 Thanks shee4speed. I just bought a new clutch, should be here in a few days. Can anyone measure from the outside of the VIN number plate to the arrow? Two different measuring points should get me real close. I want to be sure where it should be so that I don't fry my new clutch! Quote
