Anyone run WaterWetter and distilled water?

Just wondering if anyone ran this concocsion (sp?) in their quad. I don't run mine in the freezing temps and thought for $9.99 a bottle and some distilled water why not? BTW for whoever doesn't know what water wetter is, it's the stuff made by Redline that's supposed to make a normal cooling system run 20 degree's cooler than normal. It says it can be used alone w/ water but it's recommended to be used with 15% antifreeze. I'm assuming for freezing purposes? Any opinions or experiences? Thnaks Dominic

yup i run it in mine. same thing as engine ice minus the anti freezing agents. works great. 12 cap fulls per gallon of distilled water

I run Water-Wetter + 50/50 antifreeze and water in All of my bike and my prerunner. I run 1/4 bottle per bike and a full bottle in my prerunner.

I have run it in cars and my Banshee for years with no problems. I think it really only helps about 5-10 degrees tho IMO. Does it by reducing the surface tension of coolant which allows better contact with cooling system

So you run just straight Engine Ice or do you mix it with Water?

Engine Ice is premixed with water, so all you have to do is pour it in. :geek:
