lowbuckracing Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 yep they charged me 1700.00 for new d&d cool head with 18cc domes 65mm cheetah cubs and new pistons and when i got it back it wasnt jetted right was way rich was faster when i took it to themi told him it started nocking again he said ya but now you got horse power not verry happy this is the second builder i took it to the first one i had them bore my stock cylinders and ordered new pistons that was another 900.00 so im getting tired of these lame ass wanna b builders cost me a fortune for their practice go to herrjugsracing.com Trust me! or call kev yourself...Dont let any smoe work on your bike! kawiking Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 yep... ive been threw my local builders.... my stock jug drag port wasnt a drag port.... but thats what i payed for. jeff at F.A.S.T said it looked like his clean up port. local guy bored one of my cylns a hair to big.. i started it up on a cold day and snapped the bottom of my piston off... 5hrs on this motor. so.. thats why jeff at F.A.S.T. is buildin my 4 mill cub for me. _Hex* Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 ok so i went and tore my clutch apart and no broken plates but i checked my clutch basket and there is a lil play i can grab the basket and move it a lil bit twisting and pulling your cushings are spent, you will probably have to replace the basket with a stock new one or just go with a hinson basket. that play will wear out your metals if you dont take care of it Quote
