jonnyb Posted May 12, 2008 Author Report Posted May 12, 2008 looks like the one I'm talking about. Quote
caddyman Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Wow.. that kit is pricey! Seems like most are between $80 to $100 on E Gay anyway right? And I would rather pay a little more for one I can beat the shit out of and not worry. Quote
dajogejr Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 He's already got one from Dan @ A&S. I'm going to try the Raptor clutch...but I KNOW the FAST clutch holds up just fine. JT has one as well and it's taken his abuse just fine. I got a few buddies that run the tusk clutch, they're half the price. I'm sure they're fine. I have a mental block that won't allow me to buy them...even though I've seen fouledout's bike run, and run damn hard...I can't bring myself to buy a tusk. Quote
shanYE west Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 (edited) I actually buy FZR1000 fibers and the tusk kit for the steels now. Then I have a backup set of fibers and I still only have about 80 bucks into the clutch. So I switch back and forth. I'm always trying different stuff. I've used alot of different clutch kits through the years! lol I've ran the tusk in all my bikes though (450, 250r, banshee and a raptor) Always had good luck with them. The Tusk fibers look identical to the FZR1000 fibers. I can get some pictures sometime if anyone wants to see them. Edited May 12, 2008 by Fouledout421 Quote
