gumby6t9 Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 Got my motor running!! Runs great but I have a problem. I put new fuel line on and this is my first time running my PWK 28's and the 1/4" fuel line fits really loose on the carbs and leaked really bad. I went to Autozone and got some "quick clamps" and the leaking stopped but I'm worried if this will cure the problem or if it will crop up again... Do the PWK's use a smaller size fuel line?? Quote
BURRITO Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 When I had my 28's I just put zip-ties on the fuel line at the carbs and never had any problems. I think you set-up should be fine. By the way I ran mine with 28's and zip-ties for 7years... Quote

I got new fuel lines from the T to the carbs because of that, never would of thought they would be different size, they were pretty loose Id get smaller lines when ever you get a chance. Quote
gumby6t9 Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 I'm gonna measure the barb on the carbs and see what they measure... 1/4" fuel line is definately loose, I even tried the OEM lines that came off of my stock carbs and they are loose too. Everything I tried fits tight on the T and petcock though. Quote
