ahcgt Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 Newbie here... I've been lurking for a few monthes now. Really like this site and everyone really seems to know their stuff. I've got a 2000 shee' that I'll only be using for trail riding on the weekends. I've got it completely stripped right now and want some suggestions on what I can do to the motor to have a stout trail bike. Doesn't have to be the fastest shee' around but some kind of combo that would be good for mainly pretty open trail riding. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. Quote

If your wanting a mid to top end then you could get a set of T5's. What do you have done to your banshee right now? josh Quote

I'd just like to build me a good strong motor for open trails and climbing some hills. I'm fairly new to this banshee. I've been saving for a while to do this. Frame is at powerdcoating as we speak. So I'm going to start on the motor but need suggestions. I don't want to spend a ton of $ on the motor but I don't mind spending some $ for a good trail motor... I just am not sure what combo of stuff I need. Any links would be great. Ordered a +2 swingarm/carrier from SLC quad customs today which I found out about them on here. Thanks for the info tho..
