eric1981 Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 It may be a dumb ? but whats the easiest way to change out a dripping shifter seal. I was thinking of screwing a small screw into it and grabing it with a pair of plyers to get it out then using a socket that is the same size as the the new seal and tapiing it in. But i dont want to screw the new seal up. So figure i would ask fro some help thanks guys Quote
Dinner Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 Yea that would work  I just took a scriber, stuck it into the seal and pried it a bit until it came out. Put oil around the new one, slid it along the shifter shaft and then used a socket. After that I checked to make sure it was flush with the cases. Good Luck Quote
