  1. Im having problems when i get the shee warmed up, it doesnt like to stay runnin at idle. Idle is a little low, but i cant get it to idle up i have messed with the idle screw and it seams not to change a bit. Its a 98 banshee with milled head t-5 pipes Ballanced flywheel and welded and trued crank bored 20 over with flowlite pistons. port and polished. boyseen reeds. and pwk 33's carbs. Seams to be jetted properly plugs look good and not runnin to lean mayby a little rich but beter to be a little rich then to lean. Also runnin 32-1 race fuel. Also compression is 165 on one side and 174 on the other side. Also still have the airbox with KN filter with outerware and no lid on the box Thanks
  2. Thanks, Yea i thought that would work but wasnt for sure and didnt want to replace it just for it to leak again if screwed the new seal up by putting it in wrong thanks again
  3. It may be a dumb ? but whats the easiest way to change out a dripping shifter seal. I was thinking of screwing a small screw into it and grabing it with a pair of plyers to get it out then using a socket that is the same size as the the new seal and tapiing it in. But i dont want to screw the new seal up. So figure i would ask fro some help thanks guys
  4. hey, i jsut bought a banshee that had a bent lonestar axle in it and ill i did was call them and told them i need to send an axle in that was needed straightned. and he asked if i bought anything from there and i told him no, but thats only because he need to know if i was in there system so then he took my info down such as name and address and email address. Then asked for what kinf of payment that i wasnted to do for shipping such as credit card or cod. And then he gave me a RA# pretty much and order number. Then told me to ship it it to lonestars address and write the RA# on the outside of the box. They never asked me for the warrenty card or proof uf purchase so i would not metion that u did not buy the axle unless he asked but they never asked me about it at all. They said usualy turn around is 2-3 days after they recieved it. But it took them longer so i emailed them and asked about it and told me it was getting shipped out that day so i should have it back this week. Also after they take ur order they will email you the sales order acknowledgement. I printed 2 off and sent one ruberbanded on the axle so the axle itself would have my info on it also. So i hoep this helps you out, and ill keep u up to date when my axle gets back from there.
  5. ok i just check the carb out since this kid doesnt know what the hell he was talking about they are pwk 33 not pwk 35's and im runnin pump gas at 32-1
  6. ok jsut checked it has a 148 main jet cant check the pilot cause the idiot before me strip the screws out on the bowl but it just smokes on top end pretty good
  7. Ya, its has duels i think that what the kid said it had im going down to the shop after work here in a bit and going to check it out to see what it has. i thought 190 would be huge, Havnt jetted anything in like the last 10 years so im a little rusty. Where do u think would be a good starting point?
  8. i ment i think i have a 190 main not sure on pilot
  9. Yea i just bought a 98 banshee and as i far as i know what has been done to it is, Bored 20 over, prolite pistons, dune port and polish with a welded and trued crank, milled head, t5 pipes and 35 pwk carbs with kn filter with airbox. motor has about 6 hours on it. I just rode for about an hour but had to send the axle off to get straightned since i bought it with a bent axle. So it starts up easy with one kick but smokes pretty good. But seems to run fine, othere then runnin rich But as it warms up it wants to die at idle but i figure that might be idle screw maybe. But was going to get some jets when i go out of town this weekend and was wondering what would be a good start on it? I was wanting to get some jets before the axle got back so i could try it out when i got it back together. If i remeber right i think the pilot is like a 190 i think but not sure. Dont have the bike here at the moment so i cant check it out. And i live in kansas as far as elevation. So any starting points would be helpfull and much appreciated. thanks
