bbcmudtruck Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 Looks good. Find a color of paint to match your theme and paint the letters on the pipes. By the way, you have tiny feet Ryan Quote
jonnyb Posted April 28, 2008 Author Report Posted April 28, 2008 By the way, you have tiny feet LOL LOL thats my kid stupid. LOL Quote
jonnyb Posted April 28, 2008 Author Report Posted April 28, 2008 I did think about painting to letters though. I was thinking black any ideas. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 They won't flake if you did it right, no flaking for me. You have to cure the paint on your pipes too! It would of been a good idea to warm them up on the motor if you had it together. Don't apply one heavy coat, it will bubble & flake! Quote
jonnyb Posted April 29, 2008 Author Report Posted April 29, 2008 I put like 3-4 light coats and one heavy like it said in the instructions. I don't know hope it works. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 Instead of painting the letters, try using a magic marker...? Ryan Quote
Hulio-mv Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 Nice job nad nice assistant for the pics. I have used black marker before on my pcs but the letters are sunk in so it is easier. if you want to spray the letters jusr rub vaseline over everything you dont want paint to stick to and when the paint is dry wipe the vaseline back off it will catch the overspray and then it just wipes off Quote
