Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 You might want to pull your carbs off and clean them. Most likely your pilot jets are gummed up. You could also try turning your air screws in a quarter turn at a time this might help. Good luck. Quote
hylander88 Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 also might want to check for spark to if weak also will do the same thing...also check gap between fly wheel and the coil...will also give you a weak spark..that how mine was fixed the gap fire up one kick... Quote

_Hex* Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 the proper gap is .22, also check the pickup coil on the top under the fuel tank Quote
Misssppelllleddd Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I had the exact same problem before except my shee is 1987. My stator coil went bad on me which it shouldn't go bad already with a 2005. You might want to try getting a multi use voltmeter. The one that also measures amps and ohms. Get your hands on a Clymer manual and start checking the electrical system. It is a pain in the ass but it helped me with finding my problem. Quote
