Hi, I live in PA, and ride the state trails... Anyone that has ridden them knows they are ROCKY... A lot of the guys I ride with have dropped the 20" rears and gone to 22" and 23" rears... They have 4-Strokes though... Since TOP-END is not a major concern where I ride, would it kill the Shee to throw on some 22"'s and a smaller sproket up front? Has anyone here done this or heard of this??? Just curious... The 5.3" inches of GC is killing me... I have read in other threads people recommending others to try 22 inch rears but warning them of the gear ratio change based on what their friends have done. I was hoping to hear from someone who may have actually done it, better yet someone that rides the PA trails and know's what I'm talking about and has found a happy medium with their setup...

Thanks for any and all input...

I put 22's on mine with a 13" front sprocket and have pleanty of torque. Sounds like we ride on simular surfaces. I used to get highcenterd everywhere I went until I put on the 22's. It makes a big difference. I still hit some of the bigger rocks, but not as bad as I used to.

im not a fan of big ass tires and all youll really gain is another inch maybe. maybe you just need some better 20" tires... what are you running now?

+1 i also hate big tires

i run 20 inch razrs and i seem to be fine in the trails

i haver a set of 20" gncc hole shots and 22" dominator and the 22" makes a difference in ground clearance from what ive seen thats extra 1' or 1 1/2" diff makes the best of it i run 14 42 withy 20" or 22" bu8t like they said 13 41 or 13/42 is yur best shot

i run 15/41 and 22s.

its much better for not getting hung up. my skid plate hangs lower than most, so it helped a lot. especially in snow and rutted hill climbs.

1st is like 2nd was before with 13/41 and 20s. i rarely used first though so its fine for me. only one short section here that first is a bit to fast for.

Thanks for all the info guys...
