BansheeRider71 Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Torque the head bolts to 20ft lbs an then ride an if they come loose again just retorque them, if the problem keeps up then use medium(Blue color) strength loc-tite, I am doing alot of mods to my shee an the pro design cool-head is one of them, I hope my bolts dont come loose. okbeast Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Are the nuts coming loose or the studs? I wouldn't recommend loctite at all on these as they're a big enough PITA to get out as it is. Quote

Make sure the nuts are not bottoming out against the stud. Are you using the copper washers under the nuts? I also would not recommend lock-tite on the cylinder studs, you should not need to do that. i would not even lock-tite the cylinder nuts either. Quote
