jrod Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 OK here is my mods on my banshee. FMF Gold Series pipes, Boost Bootle, Cool Head 20cc domes, RS timing plate, Vforce 3 reeds, K&N filter in stock box, new sprockets and chain, tors elimanate and a 500 shot of NOSS. Na just kidding about that. Any way i have the mod bug bad now for my bike. And was wondering with those mods listed what kind of power i would be making on 93, and if it would be worth it to run 104 or higher. Thanks, Jared. The deal is i got beat by a 700 raptor with some mods last weekend. So i bought a head and domes and timing plate this week. Quote

Replace the boost bottle with the stock crossover tube, it is known to rip the intakes if it already hasn't. Fuel requirements should be based on compression and timing. High octane fuels are not good for engines that do not require them. Stock Timing- premium fuel up to about 160-165 +4 Timing- premium fuel up to about 150-155 Proper jetting is also very important. A well jetted bike will run harder than a bike with half-ass jetting... PORTING is the key to real power with stock cylinder engines. Edited April 19, 2008 by BellicoseBanshee Quote

Get your new mods on, get it tuned properly, and get better at drag racing. There is alays room for improvement when it comes to driving, so get out there and practice. The more you practice the more of an edge you will have. Try launching it in second gear. Chances are you are going to get yanked out of the hole no matter what, so you better hope you can run him down. Quote

Hilarious Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 I think you had better be looking at getting your cylinders ported. IMO a good, (3) mod 700 will give a stock ported, piped banshee fits all day. You get it ported and that 700 wont stand a chance, unless he's got a bit more done to it than the typical exhaust, power commander and intake. Quote

Just dont want it down for months in the spring time when i like to ride. I Really want a 12 port form Passion Racing. Quote
Animalman294 Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 Ya, it really sucks when you get work done on your ride and it is during the riding season............... Quote
