bunboy1 Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 hi all, i just installed a tors removal kit and now it will not start. i followed the instructions and removed the tors box located next to the ignition coils on the front left. someone told me that i need to hook up some more wires, is that true? please help. bunboy1 Posted April 13, 2008 Author Report Posted April 13, 2008 how exactly do you sync the carbs? i put my fingers into the carbs to feel for the slides are on the top of the bore when fully pinned, and adjusted the nuts on the caps according to that. is there a better way to do that, please let me know. thanks for the input. I DID THE SAME REMOVAL WITH MY 403 KIT, IF YOU HAVE THUMB THROTTLE, (STOCK) MAKE SURE YOU ALSO UNPLUG THE CLIP FOR THE WIRES THAT COME OUT OF THE THROTTLE HOUSING. IM PRETTY SURE THAT 3 CLIPS NEED TO BE UNCLIPPED WHEN IT IS REMOVED, NOT 100 % SURE THOUGH. GOOD LUCK. MINES FOR SALE IF YOU KNOW ANYONE INTERESTED. ITS FULLY BUILT 05. 5K OBO Quote

2001Stroker Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 Yea, there is 2 wires that goes to the thumb throttle. Cut them, strip the ends, and solder and heat shrink them together. Quote
