FOXBANSHEE30 Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 ok i lost my instructions. I have the head on but i need to know if the o-rings go on the studs first or the washers THEN the o-rings. Thanks. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 the copper washers go on top of the head below the nuts. put some RTV on the studs before you put the nuts on to make sure it seals all the way Quote
FOXBANSHEE30 Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 ok what about the little o-rings that go around the studs? Quote
Washburn Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 the small orings go in before you put the head over the base, then when you put the head on it goes copper washers then acorn nuts Quote
FOXBANSHEE30 Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 so the little o-rings are the very first thing to go on? Quote
Hilarious Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 so the little o-rings are the very first thing to go on? no sir. the noss head is (2) pieces. the little o rings go on after you put the first plate down. you will see the little grooves that they slide in. clear as mud? Quote
xsinnerx Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 so the little o-rings are the very first thing to go on? It's been a while since I put my Noss head on but I'm pretty sure it goes domes first, then the base plate then the small o-rings, then the top plate, washers and nuts Quote
dajogejr Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 It's been a while since I put my Noss head on but I'm pretty sure it goes domes first, then the base plate then the small o-rings, then the top plate, washers and nuts You're correct. Dave Noss said you don't need to use those Orings if you don't want to, just make sure to use his copper washers and acorn nuts, use a dab of RTV in each acorn nut. Quote
FOXBANSHEE30 Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 thanks im an idiot, but i got her runnin. Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted August 3, 2008 Report Posted August 3, 2008 So where abouts do you put the silicone? On the top of the stud itself or inside the nuts threads? Quote
dragbanshee Posted August 3, 2008 Report Posted August 3, 2008 So where abouts do you put the silicone? On the top of the stud itself or inside the nuts threads? If your not joking, put it inside of acorn nut. Quote
