LS1Inferno Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 (edited) get rid of the IMO 2 into 1, just use whats left and get another carb and some boots and you will fell a night and day difference edit: didnt see the porting in the sig (hard to read) and the next thing to do for less them 500 is domes and race gas. FOXBANSHEE30 Posted March 31, 2008 Author Report Posted March 31, 2008 i like the 2 into 1 but you think i will gain power? Quote
endofitall9 Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 I personally had more topend with my 2 into than i did with my 28mm pwks.. but the throttle response is night and day..... Quote
LS1Inferno Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 i like the 2 into 1 but you think i will gain power? i find it hard to tune, and had a bike favor one cylinder. (burnt up the other) and with what you hav the more air flow the better with a lot done I personally had more topend with my 2 into than i did with my 28mm pwks.. but the throttle response is night and day..... yeah the bike i had it on had better top end too, but i couldnt get it to run worth shit less then WFO Quote
brugal Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Sell the fmf's n get some small bore cpi's for more top end. Quote
fun_on_the_sand Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 What carb's are you using right now? smaller domes, 19cc or even 18cc will give you better throtle response by sacrifycing a litle top speed ($80) Dyna CDI box, you will need to rejet with a few sizes larger for this mod. ($300) Quote
quickbansheeman Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 does that cdi box really work? Quote
dekker Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 If you really want more power Get it ported, hands down this will give you more power than any other MOD. Get it ported and you have a whole new bike! Quote
fun_on_the_sand Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 does that cdi box really work? Yes it does, increases the spark energy and I think the spark itself lasts longer If you really want more power Get it ported, hands down this will give you more power than any other MOD. Get it ported and you have a whole new bike! I agree 100%, do you remember the feeling when you went from stock pipes to performance pipes? same feeling when you get your cylinders ported. Quote
