Then i tried to take it out and for the life of me the threaded insert just kept spinning and spinning and i tried for a while trying to put pressure on it and reafing the hell outa it and the buggin bolt wont come out...then i just broke it off with about a quarter inch stud hanging out GOD DAMMIT ALL TO HELL...so how am i going to get this out? All I can think of is getting a new tank...or welding on a piece of another bolt to the stripped one and then attaching the plastic with a nut. Quote
LS1Inferno Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 you can get a plastic welding kit, or a torch if your good with it, and reseal down the nut in the plastic of the tank. if that doesnt work, just hold it witha chissel, then epoxy it tigh once the broke bolt is out. Quote
