klemet banshee Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 I was wondering if spary on rhino lining will work? Quote
dekker Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 I would think that black spray would work just fine. they make it for plastic I say do it up Quote
ktw88q Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Some of the larger gas tanks like IMS you can not paint. They breath through the plastic. Quote
IrideA250R Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 all plastic tanks breathe through the plastic, which is why you shouldn't store fuel in plastic cans long term. The paint will bubble badly if you paint it. Sell it and buy a new tank. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 if your wanting to paint the tank cover thats fine but painting a plastic fuel tank ill not hold. like said it will bubble and come off. Quote

gregrob Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 You might not be able to paint it but you can always dye it the color you want. Quote
