bansheejoel Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 cant complain with that, they look good to me. If you plan on doing anymore polishing get yourself a mothers powerball or w/e there called you put it on your drill, they work amazing Quote
downNdirty Posted March 18, 2008 Author Report Posted March 18, 2008 Messed around with an extra front hub. The front side is a bitch. There not smooth. I didnt spend anytime sanding them down. I like shinny, but being smooth doesnt matter to me. So again I'm pleased with the way it came out. Quote
markyb31 Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 What (compond, etc.) and how did you polish the parts? Just curious, I have got my bike apart right now waiting to get my cyclinders back and might do a little myself. Quote
530grafix Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I used the green compound. they say its for stainless but works great on aluminum. Quote
meanjoe Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 Not too bad...Could be better  stop bein lazy and sand that shit first! Quote
downNdirty Posted March 19, 2008 Author Report Posted March 19, 2008 Not too bad...Could be better  stop bein lazy and sand that shit first! ( I like shinny, but being smooth doesnt matter to me.) guess you didnt read what i wrote Quote
meanjoe Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 (edited) oh i read it....but smoother will also give you more shine. The more imperfections there are, the less surface area allowing a shine. Edited March 19, 2008 by meanjoe Quote
downNdirty Posted March 19, 2008 Author Report Posted March 19, 2008 yeah i know that, but there shinny as hell compared to what they where. and i was only messing around with the stuff. Quote
