Sounds a lot like what my 89 did. It was the CDI. That damn thing can really ruin your day.

I had Wildcard do my motor this winter and it is a beast. The bike runs amazing (even with my fat A on it). I had issues keeping up with my buddys wife on a 450 before Brandon finished my bike. Now it flies. Great guy, Honest, and will give you tons of details on the build. He did a 4 mil on my 89 and I will never complain about his work. The guy really knows what he is doing. At least give them a call and see what they can do for you. I know most builders do good work but Wildcard does great work and has amazing customer service.

I was having some of the same problems with my ported shee. I couldnt seem t pull on the hills very well. I took the machine to Wildcard racing and was getting a 4 mil done. Foundout I had big electrical problems. Turns out I had lots of problems with the elecrtical starting with the CDI. Get that stuff looked at (CDI, coil, stator, and flywheel). If the electrical isnt giving everything it should your bike wont either. Just my thoughts but it does sond a lot like what I had going on. By the way Wildcard fixed all my electrical issues and did the 4 mil and now my bike SCREAMS.

I had my stock stroke ported, loved it. After a few rides it wasnt enough. Got the 4mil and I wish I had just done it first. I love the added low end that came with the 4 mil.

I know you were looking for pwk but I have a set of 28 mm mikunis with good uni filters and outerwears. let me know and I will send pics.

I have a set of 28mm mikunis that I ran on my shee for a little less than one season. I went with a 4 mil so I wanted something a little bigger. These work great, floats dont stick, gaskets are great. I have 330main jets in them now and the 20 pilots. I never had a problem with these. The come with the uni foam filters, and outerwears pre filters. I will include a can of filter oil and cleaner from Uni also. This is a great deal. I have lots of pictures. How much for the carbs?

I will be selling a set of aggressive dune ported cylinders off my running bike this winter if you can hold out. They will come with the pistons. Ported by Wildcard racing. only selling them to do a 4mil. let me know.
