TexasBansheeMan Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Whats your altitude? You sound like it might be RICH. The pilot jet is under the carb bowl next to the main jet and should be tight, the 1 1/2 turns out relates to the Air Screw located on the out side of the carb. Quote

TexasBansheeMan Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Drop to a 155 main do a plug chop. Is your lid on the airbox? what are you mixing your fuel at? Quote
yam_fan Posted March 6, 2008 Author Report Posted March 6, 2008 Drop to a 155 main do a plug chop. Is your lid on the airbox? what are you mixing your fuel at? 30mm carbs, dual pod filters, and since they are new cylinders I am running 32 to 1 and 112 octane for the 17cc domes Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 you dont really need to be running a 17cc dome, you could go bigger and back off the octane. although that wouldnt fix the issue your having with how its running Quote

TexasBansheeMan Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 I run everything you do even the gas and mix I am at +5* and 160 Main and 50 pilot jet. at sea level so you should run a 48-50 pilot, and a 155-160 main. Jets are like $2.50 a pop so they are cheap, call cpw and buy the right jets. Put you timing at +5 and GET NEW PIPES!!! Quote
