running a ported 4mm with 28mm pwks and pro circuit pipes and wondering how shearers and bigger carbs are gonna run. my local engine builder suggests 39mm pwks. something tells me that will be to much carb. just looking to improve already good engine.any thoughts

My mods are in my sig. but i went with the35mm PWK's they dont have the topend of a 39 or 41 but i think they have a better throttle response...IMO

Thanks for the input. I think i will try the 35s with the shearers and see what happens.

With the Shearer's and PWK 38's or 39's, do you lose some bottom end and gain top end or is it just the throttle response that is affected. I have 35's now and am getting some Shearer's to run with my 4mill cubby.............
