akita8 Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 I have a chance to get a 1989 Banshee for $1200. The top end is blown but the rest of the engine apears to be in good shape. It has a 2 into one intake, cpi inframe pipes and that about it. Is it worth buying a banshee with the J arms? I don't know wether I'd keep it or just fix it and sell it. I don't know wether I'd keep it or just fix it and sell it. we just bought it. he had an RZ head on it, and too much compression which melted the pistons nad it likely needs crank bearings. Good Luck Yep we have one, it is about the same, for stock and not real hard riding. a little stiffer and the ball joints suck. and little 5 dollar placstic bushings suck.
