hey guys say i baught a 4 mill stroker crank... what would i have to get done to my cylenders and what pistons should i run?..

im looking to make the shee go pretty fasty without going realy retarded.... what you guys think?... what kinda machining do i need to get done ...

If you want to go cheap get the +4 stroker crank with the standard rods and run the base plate. You can use the stock style pistons you have. You will be out the price of the crank and gaskets. Then just the time to put it in.

 

At minimum I would buy the +4 stroker crank with the standard rods. Run no base plate and run a stock cut head to clear the pistons at TDC. Port match the new stroke.

 

Even better buy the +4 stroker crank with the long rod and 795 pistons. Mid to upper end port job and cool head with custom cut domes.

if i was you i would go with the 4mil long rod with the 795 pistons as KEV said.He did my motor with that setup and it runs great.keep in mind to have it ported for it.
