I know im gonna take all kinds of S*** over this but im gonna post it anyhow i know all you guys have some good advise

I bought Quadzilla yes im asking for help with a Suzuki . and i know i have it coming to me but i need your help lol

The jetting seemed to be a bit off so i started with making a slight adjustment to the air screw took it up the road and back maybe a half mile. when i got back it just stalled and started to sputter almost as if it was running out gas.

So today i drained all the fuel from it replaced it with klotz 36:1 still the same thing. seemed a little crispier but still will not take and throttle like it wasn't cleaning itself out.

So we started with the jets started with 175 went to 178 and back to 170---- and from 52 to 55 back to 52----- and moved the needle down 1 clip

no change real change idles fine.

So we pulled the stator cover off to find just a little oil.

Do you guys think this is my problem could it be the rings?

How bad of a fix is it on the 500 , I have a puller for a banshee will it work on this stator? any help guys would be greatly appreciated i have to do something with it right away . I didn't have my compression tester with me today so i will have to check it tomorrow.

if there oil where the stator cover is i can only assume that the crank seal on that side is bad. thats probably why its not running properly. sounds like you need to tear it down.

yes a banshee puller will fit your zilla stator, and the oil is from the counter balance shaft seal, anything else while you got me here? lol! and make sure your linkage is moving smoothly on your adjustable exhaust valve thingie, for lack of a better word! look thru the little window on the right side, and rev it out.

You may check to see if you have radial play in the LH side of the crank. The LT500s are known for ruining the case and causing slop in the main bearing . Many install sleeves in the cases to prevent this. If you have play, it will cause some oil leakage in the cover as well as an air leak and lean condition in jetting.

I would only let Dr.Q over at the LT headquarters work on zilla.

I have heard that Dr.Q can do some awesome stuff to a quadzilla.
