elwilliams13 Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 Hey all currently FMF fatty graydon 2 into 1 with 35mm PWK 170main, 45 pilot, cel 1 notch leaner runs alright. Got a recreational port from TDR and was looking to get Toomey or CPI. Looking for input on which pipe maybe better. 21cc coolhead, sea level hot all year round trail riding and occasional drag race. Let me know. Quote
IrideA250R Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 sounds like a set of T5's would be right up your alley. $505 shipped with silencers in chrome from Rocky Mountain. Quote
elwilliams13 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 Thanks for the reply any other input. Quote
sheerider1026 Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 yep. t5's would be my choice, i have had cpi's, t5's and t6's, 2 into1 pipes, and the t5 is my favorite.. have you tried using a different needle in that single carb? try a eek or a dek needle, will make a ton of difference, i had to buy a new boot today from trinity for my 2 into 1.. was 50 bucks,, sucks ass Quote

Snopczynski Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) Hey all currently FMF fatty graydon 2 into 1 with 35mm PWK 170main, 45 pilot, cel 1 notch leaner runs alright. Let me know. You have a twin carb needle in your single carb (too lean), and your main jet is too small (lean). You need around a eej needle and about a 195 main jet. I would put pro circuits on that thing. Edited February 20, 2008 by Snopczynski Quote
elwilliams13 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 Thanks for the input. I am still messing with the jetting on it. My plugs are wet and black. When I rev it with the filter off it blows some fuel back out the carb? Maybe reed trouble. Quote
Snopczynski Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Sounds like the float level is set wrong or the float bracket is broken. Quote
elwilliams13 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 Will check that next, ordered that needle today will see how it goes. Quote
Face Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 I upgraded from S.L.P. pipes to CPI pipes and I will never run anything else. they are sweet! not too expencive either! Quote
elwilliams13 Posted February 21, 2008 Author Report Posted February 21, 2008 Got some toomey's on the way. After speaking with the guy who did the port that's what he recommends. Quote
elwilliams13 Posted February 21, 2008 Author Report Posted February 21, 2008 They are t5's. also I have a DEK needle in my PWK 35 not a CEL as stated before. Is this alright for my setup? Quote
Snopczynski Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 I would still run an eej, dek is a bit lean. If you have any questions on it, you can do a search or ask me for recommendations. The float level on those is crucuial, with single carb, it sits at an entirely different angle than with twin 35's. So it has to be re-adjusted. Quote
IrideA250R Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 They are t5's. good choice, you will like them a lot. Quote
