350BANSHEE350 Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 okay so i changed the mains again and up top is fine (t-5 air filter no lid) but when its idling in frist with the clutch in and i give it alittle gas to get rolling it dies out and is difficult to get rolling but once its rolling its fine so i figured it must be pilot jet(i hope not) but i do have the idle super low like so low that just putting it in gear alone it almost dies, so is this a matter of just upping the idle a little and messing the the air screws? ohiobanshee Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 Could also be your needle, might try droping it a clip or two,or a leaner one. Quote
350BANSHEE350 Posted February 19, 2008 Author Report Posted February 19, 2008 sorry guys should have been more spacfic 240 main needle is 1 down from blunt end so almost all the way dropped stock pilot (25 i think) T.O.R.S are removed the problem is i will never be able to find any kind of pilot jet which means i will need to pay 30 shipping on a couple oz jet Quote
BansheeRider71 Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 You can order jets from Jeff at F.A.S.T racing, or www.cascadeinnovations.com they have a wide variety of jets to choose from. Quote
FASTOYS Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 Yep. Or you might try the air screw out only 1/2 turn. Play with it and see what the bike wants. Out is lean in is rich. Lemme know. Quote
350BANSHEE350 Posted February 19, 2008 Author Report Posted February 19, 2008 yeah well the problem with ordering stuff from the US is the fees and taxes main triple the price of the jets for shipping and taxes which sucks but ill try the air screw stuff and up the idle and seee how it does tomorrow i really want to just get done with it and ride!
