Leaking Pingle

anyone have any issues with thier pingle just barely leaking when the bike sits? every night my vavle seems to drip a tiny amount on my jugs. I can wipe the fluid off and the next day it will be back. iit shouldnt be around where it seats becasue i have teflon tape and its on there pretty freakin tight.

No mine is dry. That is going to be a pain after enough oil builds up. Look like crap.

mine does as well, not enoguh to notice tho, i'm waiting to get a dual pingel so f it til i replace it.

It takes a ton of teflon tape to seal completely.

i put like 2 or 3 wraps on it and threaded it in. i might take her out after this pres weekend trip. its not enough to worry with right now. i just keep a rag under it so the one or two drip per day go there instead of my jugs.

Mine does the exact same thing. My tank is empty right now and I'm going to pull it off tomarrow and put an ass-load of teflon tape on it and see what it does. I've been trying to iron out all the little stupid kinks that piss me off before easter weekend rolls around. I hate having a nasty engine from little drips and leaks and stuff. Grrr. lol

Y'all need to try loc-tite thread sealant in stead of teflon tape (neither of my Pingel valves leak by the way). Otherwise penecilin will clear that drip right up. :biggrin:
