04titanse Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 I bought a used set of toomey t5's w/ silencers about 4 months ago and they mount up on the machine ok and the bike runs great but i noticed that they dont fit the same on both sides. Like the left side by is like a 1/16" away from touching my Fast Noss Head and the right side is like a full inch away from the cool head. I this common or is there a problem with the pipes or something? thanks Quote
hyperlite33 Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 I think your okay...mine fit a little different on each side. I think the right one is almost an inch longer but I just chock it up to the frame may be a little bit tweaked. Quote

How do i tell if my frame is tweaked? Quote
jbooker82 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 That is just how they fit. The banshee's engine is not centered in the frame. My CPI's fit really close to the motor and air filters on the LH side but clear by a mile on the RH side. I have to run a heat wrap on the LH singer tube so I dont melt an outwer Quote
