BigRed350x Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Try it and see how you like it. The 2 into 1 kits and supposed to give a little better low end, which is what it sounds like you could use. Quote
sheerider1026 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 and if you do not like it i will buy it from you, i also have a bunch of parts i could trade, but i would suggest you try it first, i like mine Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Pros- More bottom end More top end compared to stock Easier to change clutch cable Easier to push the throttle since there is only one slide Easier to clean the top of the case Easier and faster to jet than 2 carbs Throttle cable cost less to replace Throttle cable requires less maintenance because it doesn't split into 2 One carb so it doesn't have to be synchronized Cons: It cost a lot but if you already have one.... Also if you have porting and bolt ons, ditch the T6`s. T5s would make a better all around play pipe, if you do mostly trails and mx, some PT mids, or DMC`s might suite you better too. Measure the bore on the cylinder facing side of the carb to determine the size if you dont know it. Quote
BansheeRider71 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 PRO- easier to work on, alot simpler than 2 carbs, an low end an mid range. CON- loose top end power, banshee was designed to run on 2 carbs so it takes away top-end power. but ya its your choice. Quote

I am gonna say it (35mm) has more top end power than two stock carbs. I have one and it is noticeable. The cylinders are on alternate strokes so only one is being fed fuel at a time. Quote

Snopczynski Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 We are gonna put the 2 into 1 vs dual carbs setup hype to rest in a few weeks here. We are gonna run my motor on a crank dyno with my 2 into 1 setup. Then run a set of bored 28mm mikuni tm (28mm originally) carbs on it after that. Then we will have some comparisons charts to go off of as to what does what and where. Quote
