lost97 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 this is the problem that i am having, the bike starts fine and revs fine, when you put it in gear and put a load on it. it stops running off the right hand side. carbs were completely takin apart and cleaned. a new stator was put in. the coil was swapped the c.d.i box was swapped the pipes were checked for flow. put new cylinders and pistons on it. compression is good. and leak down test is good and it still wont work right. right now its with a guy who works on banshees only and even he cant figure it out. so any advice would be great. thanks.....Could it be in the wiring harness. sheerider1026 Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 have u changed out the spark plug, sounds like it is not firing under a load, when cars have a mis due to bad plugs or wires it usually misses when its under a load, thats what i would try first. Quote
Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 when you replaced the coil did you replace the plug wires with it? The plug wires have resistors in the caps that can go bad. have you swapped the wires from side to side? Quote
