BOWTIEKV23 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 anyone have an opinion if these these would be a good idea for my 68mm big bore stk crank bike. its just a basically standard port match as far as the sleeve to the stock cylinder. its basically a fun bike that i take to mx tracks but usually arent real tight tracks. TexasBansheeMan Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Does anyone have the part breakdown that they can post? HERE YA GO CAME WITH MY CPW'S Quote
TurboBanshee420 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Ok guys.... I bought a set of these OKO 30's from "carbpartswarehouse" on egay..... Anyone have the wrong cable sent with yours? They sent me a cable for the keihin style slides with the small vertical barrel on the end. These slides need te mikuni style cable with the large horizontal barrel nubbies.....DAMMIT Also I was looking them over. It seems 2 of the bowl screws hole in the bowl flange don't line up with the body. It's a different bolt pattern. just 1 screw on each corner opposite from each other. any info from the people who have these? Quote

TurboBanshee420 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 will the spring capsel hold the cabke in place? Should i trust it? Quote
jharader Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Ya get what you pay for... there cheap ass carbs thats for sure, cheaply made as well.. pot metal housing, slides are generic, they use 2 screws to hold the bowls on, bowl design sucks (tendency to run them dry) the fuel inlets are tiny, the cables they send suck ( constantly syncing the carbs) spring tension is bad (to much) if i were to rate them id give them a 4 of 10 i highly recomend if your looking to upgrade carbs use a genuine keihin or a mikuni, these carbs dont last long but for the price its very VERY tempting it sold me, i have sense went back to factory carbs on that bike. Its imo one of those pay now or pay later deals, might as well throw a couple hundred extra at a proven carb. That is why these lay amongst the table-o-shit parts Quote
TurboBanshee420 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 LOL.... great reply. I just wanted the cheap route so I can spend some seat time on the old gurl. I've been going apeshit on the OT at work since early spring. Got nothing done this summer... My brother has the dyno sitting in the back yard at his new house under a tarp. So I never made anymore progress on the turbo tuning. Shee runs but not worth mentioning. Always next year. All my spare thinking time is well spent on the snowmobile season this year. Thanx for the input guys! Anyone ever feel like they are twice their real age? Quote
