Starting in march I'll be out of the area and won't be riding my shee's let alone starting them. Wife won't be riding them either. What do I need to do to them since they will be sitting for at least 6 months untouched. The weather will be hot so i don't need to worry about the fluids freezing or anything like that. I'm mainly worried about the motors..Do I need to do anything special to my 421 powervalve??

i would add stabil to the gas, ride it for about 30 mins, then after it cools down pull the plugs out ans squirt a little fogging oil or wd-40 in the cylinders, spin the kickstarter by hand(slowly) with the plugs out, re-install the plugs and you should be ok.. my .02

carbs are all Id worry about. Empty the tank and bowl and oil the floats up. In a normal motor, ID say just run through some lucas stabilizer, but I dunno about the mixed gas.

Def. drain the gas tanks and your carb bowls. Pull your plugs and spray some wd-40 on the cylinders and pistons to prevent any chance of rust. Put plugs in your pipes to keep any kinda moisture out. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about much.
