kawiking Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 call jeff at F.A.S.T. and order one of his clutches.. Quote
shanYE west Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 I use the FZR1000 fibers in my 421. No problems with slipping.. I also used the Tusk kit and never had problems with them either. I use 6 toomey springs and a lock-up too. Quote
sheerider1026 Posted December 31, 2007 Author Report Posted December 31, 2007 i am running atf.. maybe thats the problem?? i am going to switch back to regular oil. Quote
RadarRacing Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 ATF IS what you wanna use not oil. Did you use old springs maybe. Maybe need 3 or even 6 of the stiffer ones and good fibers like from the streetbike or just use one of Jeff's kits they're good over your bikes HP range. I've got a 400 cub and with 3 of the stiff springs and 3 stockers mine holds. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 is your clutch adjusted right? FZR1000 fibers are more then enough for your bike. if you dont want to go the route of a lockup the FZR fibers and hd springs are the way to go Quote
