So I have been tossing around the idea of an extended anti-vibe setup for awhile now. I am trying to get the quad as comfortable as possible now that I've got some greenbacks to do it. I'm about 6'2", running a standard peg position Blackline nerf, with some Moose competition bars. I am trying to get a feeler for how much longer I may need. Unfortunately, no one that I know around me is getting this far into modding the "classics", so I'm going to ask the people I trust. What are some of the combinations that you have liked or disliked?

for comfort: new suspension banshee's arent all that good seeing as its bout 18 yrs old...

Last time I checked, I come here for good banshee advice. If I wanted a 450, I would have bought one. Since I still have something swinging between my legs, I'll keep my 'shee. I wasn't talking about comfy ride, I was looking for rider comfort/position and how it might affect myself seeing as I'm fairly new to the MX/TT crowd.

I added foam to my seat and then shaped it, then put a new griper cover on it. It helped a ton. it brought my ass up a little which helped in the legs and it made the seat a lot easier to ride all day. I also put pro tapper cr high bend bars on that took a lot of the rattle out of the hands. With my butt higher I was worried about having a higher cg but it didn't make any difference, but i did on'y raise it by and inch or so.

look at getting a mod quad +2 stem. i got one off a guy on here (and i cant remember his damn name) brand new for a killer price. chromed with anti vibe clamp. now im not bent over like i used to be. im not 6'2" so you might need a little longer. only down fall is longer then that you should lengthen your brakelines to the dont pull.

This is the kind of info I was looking for guys! I've also thought that a +2 would fit me correctly. The brake lines will not be a problem, I have to build some new ones anyways. I've got a single carb on it now, anybody know where I can find a longer throttle cable for a PWK?

the +2 will fit the stock lines ok but they pull a little at max turn. if you go longer then +2 which at your height you might want to you should go longer.

packard might sell some longers cables check them out

These Roll Design chromoly ones are badass. Im getting one then a stabilizer preferably GPR. Truthfully if I dident have to get a stem to mount a GPR I would just go with Fasst Flexx bars and the stabilizer.

All together awsome setup no matter how you look at it but you better dig deep in your wallet for that setup. Then think a-arms and suspension thats atleast 3gs for me more like 5gs (LSR AND ELITE$$$$) all front end.

+2 is the shiznut. im 6'5 and a +2 is a requirement for me. not only that but the handling gets better because you can put more weight on the bars in a turn and because they are higher it has more effect.

just make sure you dont have low bend bars. because going +2 stem with low bend bars is defeating the purpose. i use the stock ape hanger banshee bars with my +2 and its still a little short for someone as tall as me.

the very best part is that fatigue when riding hard is greatly reduced.
