Bobby Banshee Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Has anyone every used a oversized clark gas tank(5.5gal.) before. I just bought one, curious if it was a good investment. Quote
Washburn Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Great investment for riding trails all day and not having to refuel untill the 4 strokes do. Im getting one and all of the woods guys on here have one. Quote

LiftdT4R Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Sweet, you'll be able to ride a lot longer!! I have IMS tanks on both my bikes, and none of the OS tanks really look that good, but I can ride all day long on my 5.6 IMS, it's nice, especially because it can be a PITA to mix out on the trail, and some of these 4 strokers can run all day on a stock tank. That sounds rite if you are ported. Unported you could probably double the MPGs. If your getting 5 mpg a 5.5 gal tank is nessacary. Quote
2strokespirit Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 I love the look of the IMS long range tank. The bike looks so much meaner in my opinion, others hate them. Quote
STINKYDELUXE Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 the best part is they keep your legs/knees off your pipes  Quote
