Carb hitting clutch arm

Just put my new cub in my frame, and when i got the carbs on the clutch arm hits the bottom of the bowl. They are 35mm pwks, and pro design billet intakes, and vf3 reeds. Is billet spacers the best way to fix it or does someone have a secret way to fix them? Didnt have that trouble with my last two motors.

yea spacers prolly the best way. whats different about this intake setup thats making it hit?

On my 421 it had angled intakes and these are straight.

Bend the arm down, different intakes, or reed spacers.

My pro designs hit also. How good are the boss intakes with the built in crossover? Will they hit?

I will try to bend the arm down. i have a spare if it doest work. It is barley hitting so i bet that will work. Thanks Jeff!

some guys also grind the bowl drain nut down a little....get like another 1/16" clearance

Boss Intake is a nice pice. It made my PJ's and 33PWK not hit the arm.

I found a set reed spacers in the garage in a box of shit i bought.... ill polish em up and put them on there.
