Yep, I'm definitely going to do the video it's just going to take a while so have patience with me...

I already planned out what phases of the build I will video tape and explain etc. The shift star mod is definitely one of them. I'm also going to create short "outake" tutorials just to put out on YouTube for you guys.

I'll keep you updated..

Ok so I started the teardown today. I filmed a large amount of it too and managed to get all the way to taking the motor out before I quit. So next is to tear the motor down. I was surprised at my compression after about 5-6 years it's still sitting at 150 psi on one side and about 145-148 on the other...

Just an update for you guys...

I did decide to film and photograph my entire teardown and rebuild... I've been filming it all the way through so far and I'm down to the bare bones of the motor right now.

I'm working the motor first and then I'll move to the frame and the rest.

I'm cleaning and powder coating a lot of stuff so I'm slowly working my way through it and documenting everything.

Just need to get the cylinders ported then honed, weld my crank, then buy all the replacement parts etc. Then I'll start putting the motor back together.
